About the Role

Reed Further Education are partnering with a leading training provider to recruit a HGV Skills Development Tutor.

\n
• Deliver engaging training programmes to support learner achievement
\n
• Develop learners’ knowledge, skills, and behaviours
\n
• Support progression and successful course completion
\n
• Hybrid role based in Trafford Park Skills Centre
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Deliver open days, taster sessions, and IAG to attract learners
\n
• Manage learner and employer caseloads to ensure retention
\n
• Plan and deliver high-quality face-to-face and blended learning
\n
• Assess progress, track KPIs, and provide constructive feedback
\n

About You

\n
• Industry experience within HGV or related vocational sector
\n
• Teaching qualification (or working towards)
\n
• Strong focus on learner support and motivation
\n
• Confident using digital systems and e-learning platforms
\n

Essential Skills & Experience

\n
• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience
\n
• 1–2 years teaching, training, or assessment experience
\n
• Knowledge of OFSTED or quality standards
\n
• Strong communication, organisation, and coaching skills
\n
