This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or experienced Food Technology specialist looking to inspire students and develop their practical cooking, nutrition, and food preparation skills.

The successful candidate will join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and creative lessons that encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong understanding of healthy eating and food science.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:

  Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

\n
• \n

  Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition

\n
• \n

  Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

\n
• \n

  Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

\n
• \n

  Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

\n
• \n

  Ensure all health and safety procedures within the food technology department are followed

\n
• \n

  Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

\n

\n
• \n

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

\n
• \n

  Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting

\n
• \n

  Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

\n
• \n

  Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for food education

\n
• \n

  The ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities

\n
• \n

  A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
