Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week, all year round

Salary: Up to £38,487 per annum (inclusive of MFS)

About the Role

Reed Further Education are working in partnership with an education provider in Rotherham to recruit a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer.

This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across mechanical engineering programmes using a blend of practical, theoretical and digital methods.

Please note this role is classroom-based and does not require CNC, lathe, or milling expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and engaging learning resources to support high-quality teaching and learning
\n
• Deliver lessons using a blended teaching approach (practical, theoretical and digital)
\n
• Monitor and track learner progress to support positive outcomes
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet departmental and organisational objectives
\n
• Equip learners with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for future careers
\n

Requirements

\n
• Level 3 or above vocational qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
\n
• Teaching qualification and assessor award, or willingness to work towards
\n
• Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences
\n
• Strong understanding of effective teaching methods
\n
