Looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant role this September?\nThe Supply Register is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Grantham to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

About the Role\nAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils both academically and socially, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
\nThis is a classroom-based role supporting pupils throughout the school day and contributing to their overall progress and development.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Support teaching and learning within the classroom \n
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and daily routines \n
- Deliver small-group interventions where required \n
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development \n
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment \n
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents \n
- \n
- Previous experience working with children in an education or care setting \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach \n
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable \n
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential \n
- \n
- You have no experience working with children \n
- You are seeking non-education-based work \n
- You are unable to commit to full-time school hours \n
- You are not comfortable working in a classroom environment \n
