\nWe are seeking a caring, organised and approachable individual to join our Attendance Team as an Attendance Welfare Officer. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students and families to improve attendance and engagement in school life.

\nAbout the Role
\nYou will play a key role in promoting positive attendance and supporting students and families to overcome barriers to regular school attendance.
\nKey responsibilities:

- Build positive relationships with students, parents and carers \n
- Support families to improve attendance and punctuality \n
- Identify barriers and agree practical solutions with students and families \n
- Work closely with pastoral staff and external professionals \n
- Carry out home visits where appropriate \n
- Maintain accurate records of interventions \n
- Monitor attendance data and support improvement plans \n
- Support students returning after absence \n
- Promote a culture of excellent attendance \n
You may also contribute to parent sessions or small group activities to support attendance awareness.
