\nRole Purpose\n
You’ll be part of a supportive and dedicated Parks and Environment Team that keeps
\n essential council services running smoothly.
\n Your work will directly contribute to a safe and comfortable environment for service users.
\n Duties include General Grounds Maintenance
\n Grass Cutting
\n Shrub and tree pruning
\n weed control application
\n Litter picking
\n Emptying bins
\n Assisting with other departments including:
\n Grave digging
\n Cleaning toilet
\n Generally keeping the towns and villages tidy
Essential\n
A basic education (Numeracy and literacy)
\n Grass cutting machinery knowledge
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
