\n\nSANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide high-quality PPA cover across the school.
\n\nStarting in September 2026, this part-time position offers three days of work each week (Wednesday to Friday) and is expected to continue for the entire academic year.
\n\nAbout the Role
\n\nAs the school's dedicated PPA Cover HLTA, you'll teach pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups, ensuring pupils continue to receive engaging, high-quality learning while class teachers have their allocated planning and preparation time.
\n\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety of working with different classes while becoming a valued member of one supportive school community.
\n\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n\nDelivering well-prepared lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
\nCreating a positive, purposeful learning environment
\nManaging behaviour confidently and consistently
\nSupporting pupils to remain engaged and make progress
\nWorking closely with teachers and school leaders to ensure continuity across the curriculum
\nWhat We're Looking For
\n\nThe successful candidate will have:
\n\nHLTA status or significant experience leading whole-class learning within a primary school
\nConfidence teaching across a range of primary age groups
\nExcellent classroom and behaviour management skills
\nA flexible, organised and proactive approach
\nStrong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
