SEN - HLTA

A welcoming and inclusive primary school is seeking an experienced HLTA – Alternative Provision Lead to take a key role in supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and nurturing practitioner who is passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of the school's Alternative Provision.
\n
• Deliver personalised learning programmes and targeted interventions for individual pupils and small groups.
\n
• Support pupils to develop emotional regulation, independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
\n
• Work closely with the SENDCo, teaching staff, parents and external professionals to implement effective support plans.
\n
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and assessments.
\n
• Help pupils successfully access and engage in mainstream learning where appropriate.
\n

About You

\n
• Significant experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD and behavioural needs.
\n
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
\n
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals.
\n
• Calm, resilient and committed to creating a nurturing learning environment.
\n
• Passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable pupils.
