Job Title- AV Programmer / Commissioning Engineer - North West - Pay: £48K-£52K
\nLocation North West (hybrid working with UK travel, mainly in the North West)
\nPerm/Temporary - Permanent

\nAV Programmer / Commissioning Engineer Company Overview:

You will be working on technically varied, project-led installations that require genuine engineering input, not just installation. \nAV Programmer / Commissioning Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
\nProgramming and configuring AV control systems for bespoke, project-specific installations
\nCommissioning fully integrated AV solutions on site, ensuring each system meets design requirements
\nWorking on complex systems where integration, functionality and performance are key
\nIntegrating AV with wider building systems and infrastructure
\nTroubleshooting and resolving technical challenges across a variety of unique environments
\nProducing technical documentation aligned to custom-built systems
\nSupporting projects from initial build through to final commissioning and handover
\nProviding technical input to support project delivery and continuous improvement
\nDelivering client training on specialist systems
\nAV Programmer / Commissioning Engineer Skills and Experience:
\nProven experience programming AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, Q-Sys or similar
\nExperience working on integrated or bespoke AV projects rather than purely standard installs
\nAudio DSP configuration experience such as QSC, Biamp or similar
\nStrong understanding of AV systems, integration and networking
\nA methodical and problem-solving approach to technical challenges
\nConfident communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and internal teams
\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery
\nRelevant industry certifications are advantageous
\nFull UK driving licence required
