\nAn inclusive SEN school in Reading is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to support the needs of children aged 5-11 facing mental health and behavioural challenges. Day to day your role will include supporting the children during lessons, aiding their learning, promoting their emotional wellbeing, managing behaviour, building relationships and ensuring that each child feels safe and valued.
\nThis full-time role provides a fantastic opportunity for gaining invaluable practical experience. You will support their mental health and personal growth in a dynamic setting and gain excellent experience, working with a wide range of Special Needs and Mental Health Needs. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone pursuing a career in psychology, education, therapy or with an interest in mental health.
