\nAs an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers, supporting students both in the classroom and through small-group and one-to-one interventions. Your role will help pupils develop their understanding of English while encouraging engagement, confidence and a love of learning.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Support students during English lessons through one-to-one and small-group interventions. \n
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and effective classroom management. \n
- Help students understand key English concepts and complete classwork. \n
- Provide additional support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and other learning needs. \n
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation and confidence within the classroom. \n
- Prepare learning resources and support differentiated learning activities. \n
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. \n
About You
\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:

- A degree in English or a closely related subject. \n
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people. \n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain ideas clearly and effectively. \n
- Patience, empathy and a proactive, positive approach. \n
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team. \n
- Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential). \n
- The ability to commute to Bracknell. \n
