Due to continued growth, our client, a well-established company, is looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their busy team. The Estimator role is to prepare tender documentation, managing projects and be the main point of contact for clients

Estimator responsibilities:

As the Estimator you will take the lead on estimating, processing and preparing tender documentation.

Managing the tender bid process from enquiry through to submission

\n
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
\n
• Producing accurate and detailed cost estimates
\n
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
\n
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial advantages
\n
• Assessing project risks and opportunities
\n
• Supporting procurement activities and attending pre-contract meetings
\n
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
\n

Estimator key skills:

\n
• Minimum of 3 years experience
\n
• Recently qualified or working toward qualification in an estimation role desirable or associated building services qualifications (HNC/HND)
\n
• Experience in estimating either mechanical or electrical projects
\n
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
\n
• Self-motivated, ambitious and enthusiastic towards their career and development
