Temporary Maintenance Technician / Handyman – £15.00ph - Leeds, LS1

Based on one site, Tools provided, 11 weeks

My client, a leading property company requires an efficient temporary maintenance operative to assist with daily reactive repairs and maintenance at one of their Student Accomodation sites.

Job duties can include:

\n
• Competent with plumbing issues and repairs.
\n
• Undertaking reactive maintenance tasks to high quality standards including basic plumbing, joinery, and carpentry where necessary.
\n
• Conducting flushing for vacant appartments
\n
• Some painting and decorating - mainly snagging
\n
• Moving furniture and heavy items across the buildings
\n
• Putting out bins and grounds work
\n
• Conducting PPM checks
\n

The perfect candidate will have:

\n
• Proven experience of undertaking repairs and maintenance in a domestic residential environment or as a general builder/residential construction in the following trades: plumber, electrician, or carpenter.
\n
• Work well as a team or individually.
\n
• Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
\n
• Positive attitude and ability to use initiative.
\n
• Helpful, friendly with a professional manner.
\n
