- Plymouth- £95 - £100 per day- September 2026 Start- Monday-Friday | Term Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Plymouth this September. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Role

    Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND

  • \n
  • \n

    Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning needs

  • \n
  • \n

    Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  • \n
  • \n

    Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • \n
  • \n

    Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • \n
  • \n

    Liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff

  • \n
\n

Requirements

    \n
  • \n

    Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable

  • \n
  • \n

    Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • \n
  • \n

    Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • \n
\n
