Senior Qualys Engineer, Contract, Inside IR35

UK-based | Hybrid/Flexible Working6-12 Month Contract (Likely Extension)Inside IR35 £550We're looking for an experienced Senior Qualys Engineer to support the expansion and optimisation of an enterprise-wide vulnerability management platform within a large, complex organisation.

• Expand and optimise the existing Qualys platform (VMDR, CSAM, WAS, etc.)
\n
• Onboard new environments and improve vulnerability management processes
\n
• Enhance asset discovery and scanning coverage across on-prem and cloud environments
\n
• Integrate Qualys with enterprise tools such as ITSM and CMDB platforms
\n
• Automate workflows using APIs and scripting
\n
• Produce reporting and dashboards for technical and business stakeholders
\n
• Support remediation programmes and provide best practice guidance
\n

\n
• Strong hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR
\n
• Deep understanding of vulnerability management and asset discovery
\n
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, VPNs)
\n
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
\n
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP is desirable
\n
• Scripting and automation experience (Python, PowerShell, APIs)
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
\n

\n
• Experience in telecommunications or other highly regulated environments
\n
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST
\n
• Relevant certifications including Qualys Certified Specialist, CISSP or CISM
\n
