Maths Teacher – Birley Academy, Sheffield

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit a Maths Teacher on a flexible supply basis.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher who is confident delivering engaging Maths lessons and supporting student progress across Key Stage 3 and 4.

The role includes:• Delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment• Assessing, marking, and providing timely feedback• Managing behaviour in line with school expectations• Working collaboratively with department colleagues and wider school staff

We’re looking for candidates who:• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification• Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills• Communicate effectively and professionally• Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
