SEN Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a Generalist Teacher to cover a maternity leave, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The ideal candidate will have SEN (Special Educational Needs) teaching experience and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). While a background in Maths and Science is preferred, we are open to candidates from various subject areas.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects, adapting to the needs of SEN students. \n
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum objectives. \n
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students. \n
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEN specialists to enhance educational practices and student learning experiences. \n
- Participate in school meetings and events. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) \n
- Experience in teaching SEN students is essential. \n
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science is ideal, but candidates with expertise in other subjects are also encouraged to apply. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Ability to create and adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. \n
Interview Process:

- Face-to-face interview, including a 20-30 minute lesson delivery. \n
- The first part of the interview will involve a review of the lesson taught, discussing what was successful and areas for improvement if any. \n
