\nProspero Teaching is working with an independent school in Salisbury to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher (QTS) for a September start. \nAs part of a smaller, collaborative teaching team, you will primarily deliver Physical Education across KS3 and KS4, while also being flexible in supporting other subject areas where needed. This is a common feature within independent settings and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute more widely to the school community.
\nThe school offers a 10% uplift in pay, reflecting the expectations and flexibility required within an independent setting.
\nThe Role:
\n- \n
- Teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4 \n
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured PE lessons \n
- Support pupils’ physical development, participation, and wellbeing \n
- Contribute to extracurricular sports and activities where appropriate \n
- Assist with teaching or supporting other subject areas when required \n
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement \n
- Work collaboratively with staff across departments \n
- Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently \n
Ideal Candidate:

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential \n
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education \n
- Confident delivering lessons across KS3 & KS4 \n
- Willingness to support additional subject areas where required \n
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills \n
- Flexible, proactive, and team-focused approach \n
- Passionate about sport, education, and student development \n

- Working Pattern: Full-time \n
- Pay Rate: £32,916 – £51,047 per annum + 10% uplift \n
- Key Stages: KS3-KS4 \n

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
\n- \n
- QTS required \n
- Secondary PE teaching experience preferred \n
- Experience in independent or smaller school settings beneficial \n
- Safeguarding training can be provided \n
