We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Headteacher - Pastoral to play a key role in leading behaviour, attendance, safeguarding and student welfare across our school.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an established leader to join a committed senior leadership team and make a meaningful impact on outcomes for students with additional needs.
\nThe Role
\nYou will work closely with the Headteacher to lead the pastoral strategy and day-to-day running of the school, ensuring high standards of behaviour, attendance and safeguarding.

- Leading on attendance, behaviour and pastoral support across the school \n
- Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead and promoting student welfare \n
- Supporting the strategic leadership and development of the school \n
- Managing and developing staff, including performance and CPD \n
- Driving high standards of pupil behaviour, engagement and outcomes \n
- Using data to monitor performance and inform improvement strategies \n
- Supporting day-to-day leadership and deputising where required \n
About You
\nWe are looking for a confident and resilient leader who can inspire staff and drive positive change.
\nYou will have:
\n- \n
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) \n
- Proven leadership experience within a school setting \n
- A strong track record of improving behaviour, attendance and pastoral provision \n
- Experience within a SEN/SEMH environment (desirable) \n
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding and statutory requirements \n
