Cammach is currently recruiting for a New Business Manager (West of Scotland) on behalf of our client, a leading UK holiday letting platform. This is a permanent, remote-based role, with regular travel required across the West Coast. As a result, the position is best suited to candidates based in Glasgow or the surrounding areas.
\nROLE
\n- \n
- The New Business Manager will be responsible to drive both property acquisition and revenue for their region. \n
- The role will require an in-depth understanding of the UK holiday letting marketplace and specifically in West Scotland and the Islands. This should include an expert knowledge of the local competition and key market drivers. The ability to implement a pricing strategy which reflects local demand, the region and projected revenue for each property. \n
- The ability to communicate confidently, effectively and persuasively with owners, the owner proposition. \n
- A results driven and motivated individual, focused on achieving and exceeding targets. \n
RESPONSIBILITIES
\n- \n
- Drive organic property acquisition through identifying and signing up high quality properties in high demand locations. \n
- Ensure each new property is presented in the best possible light including – Descriptions, photography and priced accurately. \n
- Develop partnerships with relevant local businesses that will result in referrals and support organic growth – Estate agents, developers, trades, and cleaning companies. \n
- To deliver a continuous pipeline of qualified opportunities through various prospecting means including research, networking, cross-selling, cold calling, exhibitions, and events. \n
- In-depth understanding of the owner proposition and USPs with the ability to articulate persuasively. \n
- Become an industry expert within the holiday letting sector with a full understanding of the market landscape and competition. \n
- Awareness of relevant industry legislation and guidance. \n
- Collaborating successfully with internal teams to ensure strong relationships are built and to have a strong owner journey through every interaction we have. \n
- Brand ambassador for the company during all visits and while attending necessary functions and events. \n
- Always delivering a high level of service whilst working to departmental SLAs and exceeding owners’ expectations. \n
- A key focus on KPIs to ensure the number of appointments, properties signed up and revenue generated is achieved. \n
REQUIREMENTS
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills \n
- Results driven and motivated to work to hit and exceed targets \n
- Experience of field-based sales and remote working. \n
- Ability to understand and interpret data, using internal tools to accurately develop revenue projections and pricing strategies \n
- Commercially astute to negotiate the best possible contractual terms for the company. \n
- Experience of managing a range of customers. \n
- Good geographical knowledge of the area you are aligned to. \n
- A problem solver/able to work on your own initiative. \n
- Ability to self motivate. \n
- Strong time management skills. \n
- Experience of using CRM systems (Salesforce preferably) to manage sales process and a pipeline of opportunities. \n
- Good IT including excel, numeracy and literacy skills. \n
- Full clean driving licence. \n
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required. \n
Desirable

- Knowledge of the holiday letting industry would be advantageous \n
- Experience of photography \n
- An eye for interior design \n
