As a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor, you'll help protect people, uphold exceptional food production standards and support one of the country's most prestigious private estates. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of health and safety across a premium abattoir operation supplying high-quality produce to M&S and estate restaurants. You'll work within a respected business that prioritises quality, sustainability and animal welfare over high-volume production, with accommodation provided as part of the package. What's in it for you £45,000 pro rata working three days per week Accommodation included, making relocation an option Join a stable, well-established business with an outstanding reputation Play a key role in premium meat production supplying leading retail and hospitality customers Influence safety standards across an operation where quality always comes before volume Your responsibilities as Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor Lead and maintain health, safety and environmental systems across the abattoir operation Carry out audits, inspections and risk assessments, ensuring full legislative compliance Investigate incidents and implement preventative actions to improve site safety Deliver training and guidance to promote best practice across operational teams Support compliance with food safety, animal welfare and regulatory standards Work with management and external regulators to drive continuous improvement What we're looking for in a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor NEBOSH Diploma qualification Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, environmental compliance and risk management Experience within meat processing, food manufacturing or another highly regulated production environment Understanding of HACCP, food safety systems and relevant industry standards Full UK driving licence Working hours 25.5 hours per week across three days.
