Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (HGV) Drivers for a fantastic opportunity with a well-established client in the waste sector. This is a great chance to secure long-term, full-time work with training provided and career progression available. The Role: Monday to Friday 12-week temp to perm opportunity Start time: 06:45am (approx. 50 hours per week) Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate delivery records via PDA Ensuring all deliveries are completed within scheduled time slotsWhat We're Looking For: Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card Newly qualified drivers welcome RoRo/Skip experience beneficial (training provided if not) Experience using chains is advantageous Own transport to commute to work A strong understanding of health & safety and tachograph regulationsWhat You'll Get: Weekly pay PAYE or PAYE Advanced payment options Competitive rates of pay Onsite parking Training provided Opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks 24/7 support from our dedicated teamDriver Hire Southampton supplies drivers to a wide range of clients across Winchester and Southampton.
