Job Description
Location: Peterborough Rate: £38.50 FCSA Umbrella (Inside IR35) or £28 PAYE Duration: 12 months (Likely to extend) We are actively seeking a Design Engineer for a global automotive company in Peterborough. You will be responsible for the design and development of components and assemblies, including engine rigging systems, mechanical systems, driveline components, and bespoke test rigs. The ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of 3D CAD design using CREO, engineering drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), supported by practical design and engineering experience. Requirements: * Engineering degree with a mechanical bias or equivalent. * Previous experience of using Creo CAD and Teamcenter. * Geometric tolerancing knowledge. * Ability to understand detailed drawings and technical specifications. * Good fundamental knowledge of Engines
