Stores Operative Location: HU7 Area, Hull Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established business based in the HU area of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stores professional with a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence to join a busy and supportive team. The Role As a Stores Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of materials and products across the site. You will be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production operations, and operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move materials and finished goods Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently Receiving, checking, and booking in stock deliveries Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels Ensuring materials are supplied to production areas as required Carrying out routine stock checks and cycle counts Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe stores environment Following all health and safety procedures and company policies Supporting other warehouse and stores activities as required About You Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (essential) Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment Good understanding of stock control and inventory processes Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to support wider operations What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate Monday to Friday working hours - 6:00am to 2:30pm Stable, ongoing work with a reputable employer Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop skills and gain further experience Apply Now If you have a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence and are looking for a Stores Operative role in Hull, we'd love to hear from you.
