Graduate Acoustic Consultant Location: Birmingham Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Aztrum is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, privately owned multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to its growing acoustics team. This is an excellent opportunity for an acoustics graduate, or someone with a closely related degree, to begin their consultancy career within a supportive and technically strong environment. You will receive structured training, mentoring from experienced consultants and hands-on exposure to projects from the outset. The company Our client is an international engineering consultancy employing more than 300 people across multiple UK and overseas offices. Its teams provide acoustic, mechanical, electrical and low-carbon engineering services, helping to design buildings that are practical, sustainable and enjoyable to use. The role You will gain experience across building acoustics, environmental acoustics and noise-control engineering, working on projects within sectors such as: Healthcare Education Residential development Commercial property Industrial facilities Pharmaceutical developments Public-sector schemesYour responsibilities will include: Undertaking environmental noise surveys and acoustic measurements Assisting with building-acoustics and noise-control design Completing acoustic calculations and developing modelling skills Supporting the preparation of technical reports Providing design input to clients and project teams Working alongside architects, contractors, planners and engineers Assisting senior consultants with projects from initial assessment through to completionThe role offers a varied mix of site work, technical analysis, design and client interaction, making it an ideal position for someone looking to develop broad consultancy experience.
