Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer – Building Services Location: East Sussex & South East Salary: £35,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) Type: Permanent An established M&E Building Services contractor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of mechanical installation projects across commercial, industrial & domestic environments. The role will involve working alongside project managers and site teams to ensure mechanical works are delivered to specification, on time and within budget. Responsibilities * Supporting the delivery of mechanical building services projects * Reviewing mechanical drawings and technical specifications * Coordinating mechanical installation works on site * Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontractors * Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, contractors and consultants * Ensuring quality, compliance and health & safety standards are maintained Requirements * Experience within mechanical building services (HVAC, plumbing, pipework etc.) * Experience supporting or delivering mechanical projects * Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings * Strong communication and organisational skills * Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship preferred The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering a range of building services projects across the South East, with opportunities for career progression into Project Engineering or Project Management roles
