CNC Turning Programmer & Setter Location: Stoke on Trent Permanent / Contract: Permanent Overview EMBS Engineering is working with a long established precision engineering company with over 20 years' experience supplying high-quality components and assemblies to sectors including Science & Medical, Oil & Gas, Automotive, and more. They are a small, friendly, and highly skilled team, and we're currently looking for an experienced CNC Turning Setter & Operator to join us on a permanent basis. About the Role Our client is seeking someone who can confidently programme, set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc control is essential), work from engineering drawings, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you're the kind of person who enjoys hands-on work, solves problems proactively, and doesn't mind getting stuck in wherever needed, you'll be a great fit here. What We're Looking For * Strong experience setting & operating Fanuc-controlled CNC turners (essential) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Solid background in manufacturing * Confident working to tight tolerances Schedule * Core working week: Monday to Thursday * 37 hours per week * Overtime available on selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays There's plenty of overtime on offer for anyone looking to boost you earnings, on top of a genuine four-day core week.
