CMM Operative

Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading company in the Sheffield area Role: CMM Operative Candidates should be familiar with CMM software, such as PC-DMIS. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for measurement and analysis for all patterns and castings - Operate and maintain FARO scanning arm, Hexagon scanning arm, and Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machine - Carry out CMM accuracy verification checks - Perform dimensional inspections in accordance with operating procedures and quality standards - Carry out manual dimensional inspection using equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and other precision tools - Conduct CMM inspection activities and produce accurate measurement reports - Ensure all inspected parts meet aerospace quality requirements - Attend NCR meetings and support corrective action activities - Ensure official routing documentation and procedures are adhered to at all times - Ensure the latest approved software versions are available and maintain proficiency in their use - Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with company health and safety procedures Salary DOE
