Care Worker

We also recruit for Social Care and Public Sector roles. We are currently recruiting a Care Worker for our client based in Nottingham and surrounding areas. Responsibilities for Care Worker: * Providing personcentred care and support to children and adults with complex physical and learning disabilities. * Assisting individuals with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. * Supporting service users with mobility needs, including the safe use of hoists, wheelchairs, and other mobility equipment. * Following and implementing individual care plans tailored to each person's needs and goals. * Promoting independence and encouraging individuals to develop daily living skills. * Supporting service users with medication administration in line with policies and procedures. * Monitoring and recording health, wellbeing, and behavioural changes, reporting concerns to senior staff. * Assisting with meal preparation and supporting individuals with eating and drinking where required. * Providing emotional support and building positive, trusting relationships with service users and their families. * Supporting individuals to participate in recreational, educational, and communitybased activities. * Maintaining accurate care records, incident reports, and daily documentation. * Ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment while safeguarding vulnerable children and adults at all times. * Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver highquality care. Working Hours: various days and night shifts available Requirements for the Care Worker: * All standard care certificates in Adult Social Care & Health, or equivalent qualification. * Enhanced DBS check * Ability to handle moving & handling duties, including use of hoists and mobility equipment. * Compassion, patience, good communication skills, and a caring attitude. * Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work Monday–Sunday within the specified hours. * Commitment to client dignity, confidentiality, and safeguarding standards.
