Machine Operative

Holt Engineering is currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based near Poole. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality products. The Role Working as part of a skilled production team, your responsibilities will include: Operating a range of production machinery Setting and loading machines ready for production Monitoring machine performance and making basic adjustments where required Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Reading and following work instructions Completing production paperwork accurately Working to production targets and deadlines Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work areaWhat We're Looking For Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or engineering environment Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Excellent attention to detail Ability to follow written instructions and procedures A positive attitude with a strong work ethic Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Basic experience with machine operation What's On Offer Monday to Thursday working pattern – enjoy a long weekend every week 39-hour working week Temp to permanent opportunity Full training and ongoing support Free onsite parking Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunity to join a stable, growing engineering business with excellent long-term prospectsIf you're looking for your next opportunity within engineering and have experience operating machinery, we'd love to hear from you.
