Senior Quantity Surveyor Birmingham Up to £72,000 DOE We are assisting our client who is a Top 5 ranked Main Contractor on their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on HS2 project doing a 90km stretch of the West Midlands route, building the infrastructure that will one day carry trains between London and Birmingham at up to 225mph. What you'll be doing: Leading and owning key commercial tasks, with real autonomy to make decisions in your area Reporting into a Project Manager or Commercial Manager on commercial matters for your section of the project Protecting the commercial position through strong contractual, insurance and legal knowledge Playing a role in client relationship management to keep contracts progressing smoothly Mentoring and developing junior members of the commercial team Working hand-in-hand with the delivery team to solve real engineering and commercial challenges Preparing tender packages, evaluating returns, and appointing subcontractors accurately and on timeWhat you'll bring: A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience) Solid NEC contract experience A track record on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects RICS, ICES or CIOB membership The right to work in the UKTo apply, please submit your CV or feel free to reach out for a confidential conversation.
