Electrician

Electrician - Wastewater (Contract) We’re currently looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to support delivery on a wastewater treatment works project. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance within industrial or water environments, working as part of a wider MEICA delivery team. Duties will include: • Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and upgrade works on wastewater treatment assets • Fault finding, testing and inspection of electrical systems and equipment • Supporting commissioning activities across pumps, motors, control panels and associated plant • Working to site procedures, RAMS and relevant industry standards • Coordinating with site teams, engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of works • Maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance across site Must have: • ECS Gold Card • Strong industrial electrical experience • Experience with installation, testing and fault finding on industrial systems Preferred / beneficial: • EUSR Water Hygiene • SSSTS or SMSTS • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations • Familiarity with WIMES standards • Experience working on treatment works or similar process environments If you’re an experienced electrician looking for a long-term contract within the water sector, this is a great opportunity to get involved in a busy and well-supported project.
