Press Brake Operator (Amada) – Early/Late Shift Location: Wakefield Salary: £17.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Recruiter: Actio Recruitment Press Brake Operator Actio Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Wakefield for an experienced Press Brake Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Shift Pattern Rotating weekly shifts: * Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm * Late Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Pay * £17.00 per hour Key Responsibilities * Set up and operate Amada press brake machines. * Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Select the correct tooling and adjust machine settings to meet production requirements. * Produce components to tight tolerances and quality standards. * Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment. * Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. * Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
