Graduate Health & Safety Manager - Construction Location - Warrington Salary/Package - £30,000 - £36,000 + Excellent Benefits Package About the Company Our client is a well-established and highly respected construction contractor with a heritage spanning more than 70 years. The Role As Graduate Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for: Supporting the implementation of the company's Health & Safety strategy across multiple construction projects Assisting with site inspections, audits, and safety reviews Monitoring compliance with current health & safety legislation and company procedures Supporting the preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work Assisting in the investigation of incidents and identifying preventative measures Working closely with site teams to promote a positive health & safety culture Helping deliver health & safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives Maintaining accurate health & safety records and compliance documentation Supporting pre-construction teams with planning and risk management activities Building strong relationships with operational teams, subcontractors, and clients Developing your knowledge of construction legislation, CDM Regulations, and industry best practice through ongoing mentoring and training The Ideal Candidate The successful Graduate Health & Safety Manager will have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Management, or a related discipline A genuine passion for developing a career within construction health & safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn The ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office A full UK Driving Licence or be working towards obtaining one Desirable NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to work towards it Previous placement, internship, or site experience within construction Knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK Health & Safety legislation What's on Offer Competitive basic salary of £30,000 - £36,000 Attractive benefits package Structured graduate development programme Ongoing mentoring from experienced Health & Safety professionals Opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications and professional memberships Exposure to a wide range of residential and mixed-use construction projects Clear long-term career progression within a growing and well-respected contractor Supportive and collaborative working environment Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
