.Double Day Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
\nLocation: North EssexSalary: £45,000
\nReed Engineering are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing organisation in their search for a Double Day Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established maintenance team and play a key role in keeping production equipment and site facilities operating efficiently.
\nThe Role
\nThe Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will work proactively across a wide variety of manufacturing equipment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation throughout the facility.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Proactively deliver PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) across a range of manufacturing equipment \n
- Diagnose and resolve equipment faults and breakdowns \n
- React promptly to repairs and health & safety-related issues \n
- Carry out general building and facility repairs as required \n
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives \n
- Undertake additional reasonable duties to support the efficient running of the site \n
Education & Essential Qualifications
\n- \n
- Recognised apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical engineering \n
- Minimum City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, BTEC, or ONC \n
- At least 5 years’ experience within a multi-skilled industrial maintenance environment \n
- BS7671 IEE 18th Edition qualification \n
Essential Experience & Skills
\n- \n
- Well-organised with strong interpersonal skills \n
- Solid experience in a multi-skilled industrial environment \n
- Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuits \n
- Good problem-solving ability \n
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations \n
Desirable Qualifications/Skills

- IOSH safety qualification \n
- Computer literate (Excel, Outlook, Word) \n
- MEWP licence \n
- FLT licence \n
- C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing \n
- LEV P601 qualification \n
