Syndicate Financial Controller

HFG are currently working with a leading London market insrur who are looking for a Syndicate Financial Controller to lead their reporting function and take ownership of regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities for this Syndicate Financial Controller role include:

• Manage all aspects of the managed syndicate's reporting and accounting
\n
• Review and recommend for submission all Lloyd's quarterly and annual regulatory returns
\n
• Effectively manage the quarterly close process and reporting requirements
\n
• Driving the development of reporting systems and processes capable of meeting the demands of an evolving business area
\n
• Committee Financial Reports
\n
• Production of timely, insightful, and strategic financial MI for management and the Board.
\n
• Manage the external audit timetable and process across all departments that contribute to the audit client schedule list
\n

Experience required for this Head of External Reporting role include:

\n
• Previous Syndicate/Lloyd's reporting experience
\n
• ACA/CA qualified with 5 years minimum post qualification experience
\n
• Good verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Previous experience working an London market insurer
\n
