You'll work closely with experienced engineers and project leads, gaining exposure to technically challenging projects while building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders. • Assist in the design and delivery of electrical and lighting engineering projects.
\n
• Produce high-quality technical designs and supporting documentation.
\n
• Support Project Engineers and Department Leads in delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
\n
• Work collaboratively with clients, contractors and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver practical engineering solutions.
\n
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and technical support.
\n
• Assist with Health & Safety, CDM and environmental documentation.
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and company procedures.
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice across project delivery.
\n

About You We're looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn and passionate about engineering. You'll ideally have:\n

\n
• HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).
\n
• Knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
\n
• Experience using engineering design software and Microsoft Office.
\n
• A proactive and organised approach to managing your workload.
\n
• Commercial awareness and a desire to deliver excellent client outcomes.
\n

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:\n

\n
• Experience within highways, street lighting or infrastructure projects.
\n
• Electrical scheme design and project delivery experience.
\n
• Knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, National Highways standards and associated design guidance.
\n
• Experience with ICP design.
\n
• On-site construction or installation experience.
\n
• Familiarity with programme management and resource planning software.
\n
