Mechanical & Electrical Project Coordinator - Hybrid - Up to £70,000 depending on experienceAbout the Company As a result of successful business growth, we're on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator to hold responsibility for coordinating the M&E elements of various projects... We are working with a leading UK-based contractor specialising in the delivery, design-and-build projects across the UK backed by extensive European experience. The business is seeking an electrically biased Mechanical & Electrical professional who is looking for a long-term role, can integrate into an established team, and bring both technical expertise and a proactive, personable approach to project delivery. - Review client requirements and drawings in line with company standards \n
- Liaise with internal and external design teams \n
- Review design drawings and calculations \n
- Coordinate between designers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams \n
- Attend client meetings and advise on changes \n
- Respond to contractor queries and manage coordination \n
- Monitor M&E work programmes alongside construction schedules \n
- Oversee on-site installation activities \n
- Review and provide input on variation costs \n
- Support commissioning programmes \n
- Review O&M manuals \n
- Maintain clear communication with line management \n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical construction supervisory or management role \n
- Strong communication skills \n
- Willingness to travel and work away when required \n
- Ability to work effectively within a team \n
- Capable of providing M&E advice across departments \n
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings and schematics \n
- Practical construction knowledge with problem-solving ability \n
- Leadership and motivational skills \n
- Positive, self-driven, and adaptable mindset \n
- Understanding of electrical regulations (including fire alarm and CCTV systems) \n
- Awareness of mechanical services (advantageous) \n
- Commercial awareness \n
- Electrical apprenticeship with relevant qualifications (BS7671) \n
- Testing & Inspection certification (BS2391) \n
- Electrical design qualification or strong design understanding (BS23 \n
