Are you a recent graduate with a passion for planning, placemaking, and sustainable development? We are currently representing a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy that is looking to recruit a Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team in Swindon.

The Role\n

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will work alongside experienced planning professionals on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development projects. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the planning process while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications
  • \n
  • Conducting planning research and policy reviews
  • \n
  • Supporting the preparation of planning statements and reports
  • \n
  • Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
  • \n
  • Attending site visits and client meetings
  • \n
  • Monitoring planning applications and policy developments
  • \n
About You\n

To be considered, you should have:

  • A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline
  • \n
  • A genuine interest in the UK planning system and development sector
  • \n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
  • \n
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
  • \n
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • \n
