\nAbout the Role
\nA rewarding opportunity has become available for a Behaviour Buddy to join the supportive and nurturing team.
\nThis role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. The school is committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
\nWe are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and resilient individual who can build strong relationships with pupils and help them succeed both academically and emotionally.
\nYour Role as a Behaviour Buddy

- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils \n
- Supporting children in the classroom to encourage engagement and positive behaviour \n
- Working closely with teachers and support staff to minimise disruption and promote learning \n
- Assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties, and other additional needs \n
- Providing feedback to teachers, parents, and carers on pupil progress and wellbeing \n
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and social development \n
The Ideal Candidate

- Has an outgoing, patient, and mentoring approach \n
- Is passionate about supporting children and young people \n
- Can think on their feet and remain calm in challenging situations \n
- Is proactive, adaptable, and prepared for every day to be different \n
- Has the ability to build excellent relationships and rapport with pupils and staff \n
- Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable but not essential \n
