We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Herne Bay from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious educator who can inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

\n

The successful candidate will teach within the Humanities department, with the ability to deliver subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a combination of Humanities disciplines. The position is initially offered on a long-term basis but may become a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Teach Humanities across KS3, KS4, and KS5.

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons that inspire student achievement.

  • Support students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • \n
  • Has experience teaching Humanities at secondary level.
  • \n
  • Has the ability to teach KS5 (A-Level) Humanities subjects.
  • \n
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Is passionate about education and student success.
  • \n
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
