COVER SUPERVISOR - FULL TIME, UNTIL JULY 2027STARTS SEPTEMBER 2026Prospero Teaching are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of mainstream secondary schools in North Manchester. From September 2026, Prospero will be the first point of call for a number of schools in the area for day-to-day supply. A Guaranteed Pay Scheme is available for exceptional/experienced candidates.You don't need to have a particular subject specialism, but a willingness to step in to all lessons and a positive attitude is essential. The position is open to both graduates, ECTs and experienced cover supervisors and will provide excellent experience for those considering a career in education. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: North Manchester Position: Cover Supervisor Type of work: Covering classes in absence of a Class Teacher Start date: September 2026 Duration / Likely Duration: Full-academic year End date (if applicable): N/A Contract type: Temporary Full time/part time: Full-time Minimum rate of pay £120/day Hours 8:15 am 3.30pm
\nEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher Previous experience working in a UK school, or working with young people, is desirable but not essential. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year, or willingness to undertake Prospero's training.TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
