PIM Data Steward (Inriver) – 6 Month Contract – Fully Remote – Inside IR35

VIQU have partnered with a global E-Commerce organisation who are seeking a PIM Data Steward to support the EMEA function of the business across multiple brands and channels.

The Role

The PIM Data Steward will play a key role in delivering high-quality product data to support regular new product launches across multiple brands and retail channels.

This role goes beyond basic data checks; you will be actively involved in data uploads, syndication, and template mapping, ensuring product data is accurately structured within the PIM and correctly output to downstream systems.

You will work closely with the wider team to map retail templates, align data models, and support the full product onboarding lifecycle, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure product data across core systems is accurate, complete, and aligned to business standards
\n
• Support regular new product launches, following structured processes and ensuring data readiness
\n
• Manage data uploads into the PIM system and validate outputs across retail channels
\n
• Work on data syndication, mapping PIM data models to required output formats for different channels
\n
• Support the mapping and onboarding of new retail templates across multiple brands
\n
• Apply and maintain data mapping rules, ensuring consistency between source data and downstream outputs
\n
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data queries, issues, and requests
\n
• Track and report the status of product data against key deadlines
\n
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies within large datasets
\n

Key Skills & Experience

\n
• Strong hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems – ideally Inriver, or alternatively, strong experience with Salsify, with proven expertise in template mapping and customisation (non out-of-the-box environments)
\n
• Proven experience in:\n

  • Retail template mapping
  \n
  • Data uploads and transformations
  \n
  • Working with and understanding PIM data models
  \n
  • Strong understanding of data syndication and mapping data outputs to channel requirements
  \n
  • Solid grasp of data governance, data quality, and data management principles
  \n
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, macros, complex formulas, dashboards, advanced lookups)
  \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  \n
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  \n

• Duration: 12 months initial (with view to extend)
\n
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35 (Off-payroll regulations apply)
\n
• Rate: £300 - £330 per day
\n
• Location: Fully remote
\n
