Cover Supervisor

Wellingborough | Full-Time | September 2026 Start | Up to £130 per day (PAYE)

We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Wellingborough from September 2026. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, offering an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in the classroom.

As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 when teachers are absent.
\n
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
\n
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
\n
• Support pupils to stay focused and complete their learning activities.
\n
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and lesson outcomes.
\n

\n
• Experience working with primary-aged children in a school or similar setting.
\n
• Confident leading a class independently.
\n
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
\n
• A positive, flexible and proactive attitude.
\n
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
\n

• Up to £130 per day (PAYE) - no umbrella companies.
\n
• Full-time role for the 2026/27 academic year.
\n
• September 2026 start.
\n
• Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant.
\n
