SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time (1:1 Support) | September Start

REED / Lancashire Teaching Agency (LTA) are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from September.

This is a 5 days per week role, working 8:45am – 3:30pm, supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis.

The position involves working closely with a young girl who is non-verbal, providing tailored support to help her access learning and feel comfortable within the classroom environment. Personal care will be required as part of the role. There are no behavioural concerns, and the focus is on providing consistent, nurturing support throughout the school day.

The role is expected to continue for the full academic year, offering stability and continuity for both the child and the successful candidate.

Key Requirements:

• Previous SEN experience is preferred

• A patient, caring and supportive approach

• Confidence working 1:1 with pupils with additional needs

• Willingness to provide personal care
\n
