The Role

As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
\n
• Encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for learning about the past.
\n
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
\n
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
\n
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment where all students can succeed.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the Humanities department.
\n

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
\n
• Have experience teaching History within a secondary school setting.
\n
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills.
\n
• Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
\n
• Have the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
\n
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider school community.
\n
