\nWe are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chester. This role involves supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping them access education in a positive and inclusive environment.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, 1:1 Teaching Assistant, or SEND Support Worker seeking a rewarding role within primary education.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional learning needs. \n
- Support children with special educational needs. \n
- Assist pupils with emotional regulation, routines, and positive behaviour strategies. \n
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff to deliver tailored support. \n
- Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and engagement in lessons. \n
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of individual pupils. \n
We are looking for candidates who have:

- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND. \n
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach. \n
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour. \n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- A genuine passion for education and supporting vulnerable learners. \n
