Job Description
The RoleAn exciting opportunity to join an excellent organisation on a contract basis to be part of the global analytics team. This role will require you to be fully onsite in Newcastle and will be initially for 3 months with a very strong chance of extension.
Essential for the role\n
\n - Strong Power BI (critical – minimal ramp-up)
\n - Strong data modelling / DAX / SQL / data transformation
\n - Experience with large datasets / semantic models / star schema
\n - Exposure to Azure / data platforms (nice to have but helpful)
\n - Strong Excel
\n
Other must haves\n
\n - Commercial / business-facing analytics: Sales, revenue, orders, backlog, pipeline, marketing
\n - Finance exposure beneficial (P&L understanding)
\n - Commercially minded, not just technical
\n - Able to gather requirements and build solutions (full ownership)
\n - Proactive / self-sufficient
