\nA well-established 3-form entry primary school in Hayes is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join their team from late September 2026 to cover a maternity leave until July 2027.

\nThe successful candidate will:

- Take responsibility for a Year 1 class from late September 2026 \n
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum \n
- Support pupils as they continue to develop key literacy and numeracy skills \n
- Deliver high-quality phonics teaching and assessment \n
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners \n
- Work collaboratively with parallel teachers across the year group \n
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues \n

The Ideal Candidate
\nThe school is looking for a teacher who:

- Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) \n
- Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1 \n
- Has a good understanding of phonics and early reading \n
- Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement \n
- Is organised, reliable, and committed to pupil progress \n
- Works effectively as part of a team \n
