Our client, a well-established UK organisation, is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to help mature their Microsoft Fabric and Power BI reporting environment.

What you'll be doing:

\n
• Reviewing the current Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse setup, including data models, semantic models, dataflows/ETL, and overall reporting architecture
\n
• Recommending improvements around performance, scalability, governance, security, and usability
\n
• Integrating data from core line-of-business systems into the reporting platform
\n
• Building reliable data ingestion and transformation pipelines
\n
• Developing operational dashboards, KPIs, and data models to support business decision-making
\n
• Running training sessions for end users and producing clear documentation for handover
\n

What you'll need:

\n
• Solid commercial experience delivering Power BI solutions
\n
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or the Azure Data Platform
\n
• Experience designing and optimising Lakehouse architectures
\n
• Experience integrating data from SaaS platforms and APIs
\n
• Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to work independently to deliver against a fixed timeline
\n

Contract details:

• Rate: £450/day, Outside IR35
\n
• Location: Milton Keynes
\n
• Duration: Initial 3-month contract, likely to extend
\n
